    GETTING TO Bella Bella

The island village of Bella Bella is located on Campbell Island, is the home of the Heiltsuk first nation and located on the Central Coast of British Columbia. It is north of Port Hardy and about 3 km north of McLoughlin Bay, where BC Ferries docks. Bella Bella is the starting location for the Great Bear Rainforest Expedition.

You can also fly from Port Hardy, on northern Vancouver Island to Bella Bella with Wilderness Seaplanes.

    BY CAR

You can drive to Bella Bella either via the mainland to Bella Coola and then a ferry ride or via Vancouver Island and ferry from Port Hardy. Ferries are operated by BC Ferries with limited departures so please plan your journey carefully and make a reservation.
