I know you are going to send us a feed back form, but I did not want to wait that long. My family and I (3 altogether) were on the tour starting July 28, and now 2 weeks later, we have all concluded that this was the best vacation we have ever been on.
The Songhee was a terrific base from which to kayak, but the really outstanding feature of the trip (excluding the location of course) was the caliber and character of the crew and guides, Greg and Jolie were absolutely fantastic! Their, knowledge of the area, including flora and fauna, history, First Nations, and geography, Was encyclopedic, and they were both outstanding teachers. They kept us interested and active the whole trip. Of course the animal sightings we had were wonderful, including bears, eagles, orcas, humpback whales, and an incredible variety of underwater sea life. The crew too were wonderful. Leif was great help with anything we needed (and funny as well), and Jim and Don got us to so many wonderful locations. Lastly, we did not expect the quality and variety of unbelievable food that Emma produced - we gained weight on this trip, despite a fair amount of paddling!
We have been telling our our friends how great this trip was, and already several friends want to go back with us next year. I hope we can figure a way to do that, but if not next year, we will certainly be back the next.

Dear friends,
Thank you for an adventure of a life time! Bill and I were among the guests on the Songhee the end of July, the first mothership tour of the year.
I can't tell you how much we enjoyed each day of the trip and continue to enjoy reliving every memory since. Jolie and Greg were perfect guides, providing exciting and interesting experiences for us every day and often into the night, from close encounters with Orcas to exploring a tide pool, to visiting with whale researchers to to paddling at night with an ocean full of bio-luminescence. Even though they have seen all this before, they shared our excitement which made it even more fun. Visiting with Billy, touring his museum and learning about the first nations people was something we will never forget.
Emmas made us the most wonderful meals, Leif was a delight to visit with, Jim was a warm and gracious host, Don was fun and full of stories and the best part was that we were able to get to know them as not only our crew but as our friends.
It's going to be hard to find a trip better than this one we're looking forward to returning.
Please tell every "Hi" and we're still glowing thanks to our great crew!
